Puppy moms don’t put up with a lot of guff. Of course she’ll play with them, but when they step over the line, she’s all business. If they ignore her low growl that says “No!” she’ll give them a little slap with her paw.
You can discipline your puppy using the methods developed by Mother Nature for the canine. Your little one will understand you that way. Say “No!” in a purposely low voice, which will remind the little truant that you mean business, just like her mom would do.
If she bites you or grabs your clothing to play tug-of-war, give her a tap against her nose. The sooner you take the upper hand, the better for both of you. Dogs like to know what the hierarchy is in their environment.
