I recently read about a dog that saved the life of her entire family by making sure they got outside as the house filled up with carbon monoxide. How did this dog understand the danger of this gas? It’s remarkable.
Dogs are also known for saving potential drowning victims as well as alerting other people when their masters are seriously ill or the victims of heart attack or stroke. When you are part of the “pack”, you benefit from the care and concern of the remarkable canine member. Dogs are incredibly sensitive, and of course they have an unbelievable sense of smell.
As if yet another reason to adopt a dog was necessary.
