Disabled dogs ? Many people would think only of euthanasia for a dog that has lost his ability to walk, hear or see. But I have discovered that there are true “angels” who take in these tragically injured or congenitally impaired dogs and even work towards finding them new homes.
After all, any being, dogs and other animals included, are not just a “body”. They still have the ability to love and accept love, even if they are no longer able to see or run. And now there are even dog wheelchairs for pets that have lost the ability to use all their limbs.
This site also gives hope to people who have an injured or disabled pet, and encourages all pet owners to take responsibility for a dog who has become disabled through an accident or illness. If you would like to know more about disabled dogs, check out this wonderful website. You might even consider adding a handicapped dog to your own family!
